Knight round

The 12 km long knight tour passes by as many as seven castles, ruins and residences. The cultural exploration trail is also suitable for inexperienced hikers and is also suitable for those with buggy if you miss out the "Bierkeller" and Plima bridge sections.

Today the castle is privately owned and therefore not accessible. The same path leads to the ruins of Untermontani Castle, where the original manuscript of the Song of the Nibelungs was found; today the manuscript is in the Berlin State Archives. You start the hike in Latsch and continue to the IceForum past Bierkeller and then follow trail no.5A past castles, palaces and ruins. Then you come from Morter to Coldrano and follow trail no.3 back to the start point in Latsch.
