Rafting along the young Adige River enjoys great popularity in Venosta Valley. Impressive natural landscapes and adventurous rafting routes ensure lasting memories. Enjoy spectacular views while paragliding. From a lofty height, the entire Upper Venosta Valley can be explored, from the Sesvenna Group and the Ortles Group to the Oetztal Alps.

The high-rope climbing garden in Laas offers a true natural adventure. There are climbing training facilities (2 - 23m high) in the middle of the clear larch forest. The Oetzi Rope Park in the Schnalstal Valley with its seven courses is also very popular.

The 6m-long winding Resia Lake is ideal for kite surfing and other water sports. Kite surfers and wind surfers will find plenty of fun in front of the unique backdrop of mountainous lake landscapes of the Resia Pass.

If you decide to challenge yourself to a game of tennis, you’ll discover that there are several tennis courts open to all to choose from in the Ortles region.

Go on a Segway

Are you in the mood for a different type of adventure? If so, you can discover the terrain around Prato/Prad on two wheels: not by bike, but on a Segway! This ecological means of transport is electrically powered, with a platform on which one person stands and can reach a speed of 20 km/h, providing an ideal means to quickly recce the area.

The meeting point for Segway guided tours is the Cafe Zentral at Prato allo Stelvio. Franz Pinggera organizes Segway tours between May and October in the Stelvio Natural Park.
