General description



Excursion to the Valdaun creek to the gorge "Gurgl". The creek has here broken through the rock and a waterfall rushes down about 20-25 m. The hike in the shady Stelvio National Park is especially recommended on hot summe days.

Route description

Path no. 12 - 5

Start at piazza Bagni in Lasa and go eastwards along via Bersaglio. Turn right into vicolo Fabbri and continue slightly upwards until the hiking path that takes you along the Valdaun stream to the „Gurgl“ gorge – a waterfall of 20-25 m. Continue uphill on the path with many bends until the Lasa Valley forest road.

From Reschen or Meran to Laas, Badplatz.

Parking

The car can be parked at the Badplatz parking place.

Public transport

By the Venosta train to Laas.
